Eclipse Stainless steel undermount sinks offer a modern, clean look while also offering the benefit of a hygienic workspace. Undermount sinks do not suffer the same failings as drop-in sinks where food and grime collect under their rim. Combined with the durability of stainless steel, these sinks are a winning combination.

The Eclipse stainless steel kitchen, utility and bar sinks are available in 16 and 18 gauge. They also offer a lightweight lavatory bowl (bathroom sink) in 20-gauge stainless steel. The 16-gauge stainless steel is the most durable and is less prone to dents as well as showing water spots and scratches.

Another advantage of the Eclipse Sink line is that the rims are manufactured from 15 gauge stainless steel. This thicker rim, allows the sink shape to be manufactured EXACTLY the same from sink to sink. A 16 or 18 gauge sink rim will have a +- 1/16″ size difference, and as such, makes the solid surface fabrication more difficult. With the higher qualtiy Eclipse sink, this in not a problem; and if your manufacturer is using a CNC machine, then you need an Eclipse Stainless Steel Sink so that the Computer will cut out the correct sink hole.
